Vocational Services

The first step in providing services is to assess an individual’s skills, abilities and interests. Show provides a vocational assessment to all individuals within the first thirty days of service. The assessment is used as the starting point in developing an individual’s plan.
Training begins with the development of a vocational training program by the individual and the individual’s interdisciplinary team. The goals and objectives set by the team are the framework in which training is accomplished. During the training period, the individual is paid for work completed in accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Standards.

Vocational Training

To provide vocational training to meet other individual’s needs, Show operates crews which provide janitorial and landscaping services to customers in the community.
Show also has a recycling center which accepts donations of paper, glass and plastic and operates a buy-back center for aluminum.
